Genisco Expansion Solidifies Pledge of “Always On”

With their new location, Genisco says that customers can expect expanded product offerings and more of the “always on” service the company is famous for.

After outgrowing their space early last year, Genisco management realized that continued growth in product demand gave them no choice but to look for a new home for their manufacturing operation. Their new El Cajon facility, located just 12 miles from their previous location, almost triples their size and offers the much-needed boost in capacity that the company was looking for.

“For us the move is really all about taking care of our customers,” says Genisco president Ryan Posey. “Our new space will enable us to streamline production, bring in additional resources to shorten lead times, and increase our inventory in order to improve delivery times for our customers.”

Posey says that facility growth will also translate into growth in the Genisco product line, with new product announcements set for later this year.
